Government of Malaysia MTCP Scholarship 2024

The Government of Malaysia is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the 2024 MTCP Scholarship, a fully-funded program designed for international students from developing countries.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be considered for the MTCP Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Age: Must be under 45 years old as of the application deadline
• Academic Qualifications: Must have completed a bachelor’s degree with a minimum second-class upper honors (or equivalent) and a minimum GPA of 3.50
• English Language Proficiency: Must submit scores from an approved English language proficiency test, such as IELTS (minimum 6.0) or TOEFL IBT (minimum 70)
• Field of Study: Must be pursuing a postgraduate degree in a field related to Science, Technology, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Management, Banking, Social Science, Humanities, Information and Communication Technology, International Relations, Political Science, Agriculture, Aquaculture, or Education

• Monthly allowance of RMB 3,500
• House Rental Allowance
• Thesis Allowance
• Travel Allowance
• Medical Allowance
• Insurance Allowance
• One-off return economy-class airline ticket from the student’s closest international airport to Malaysia and back to their home country
