Cisco/I4G CyberSecurity Scholarship For Africans 2023
Cisco/I4G CyberSecurity Scholarship is a joint partnership program between Cisco and I4G to train African youths and help them build careers in Cybersecurity.
The scholarships are for tech final year students in need, to the Ivy Leagues of Africa. This financial support also provides a laptop for the student, to aid their education.

According to a report by Cybersecurity Ventures, the number of unfilled cybersecurity jobs grew from 1 million positions in 2013 to 3.5 million in 2021.
A lot of these roles are still yet to be filled because of a lack of talent. Yet, predictions show that there would be the same number of openings in 2025.
Ingressive for Good exists to equip young Africans in need with tech skills to help them impact and contribute to the development of Africa, socially and economically. Ingressive For Good (I4G) was created to address the glaring inequities that exist within African tech ecosystems.
Every student who receives this scholarship will automatically become a part of the I4G Alumni.
Scholarship Requirements:
To be considered for the schoalrship, you must:
- Be an African youth.
- Be interested in building careers in Cybersecurity.
Scholarship Duration and Reward
I4G and Cisco have partnered to make sure you have free access to the course during a specified period of time.
You will learn the following:
- Introduction to Cybersecurity
- Cybersecurity Essentials Management
- Cyber Threat
- Cloud Security
- Cloud Security
- Network Defence
- Endpoint Security
Duration:
Although the program is self paced, your scholarship will last for eight weeks.
