Application is now opened for international students to study in the United States of America.

This scheme aims to attract highly capable new students with demonstrated academic excellence to study full time in any undergraduate courses at the University of Southern Maine.

Scholarship Details:

The Scholarship is divided into 3 parts; the USM Scholarship, Dirigo Scholarship, and the President’s Scholarship.

• All international undergraduate students that apply to the University of Southern Maine will automatically be considered for Academic Merit-Based Scholarships.
• If the student meets the academic criteria they will be awarded a merit-based scholarship at the time of admission.
• Offers undergraduate degree program in accounting, history, art, science, engineering, business, IT, etc.

Scholarship Requirements:

To be considered for the Scholarship, you must:

• Be an international student.
• Have enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at the university.
• Have applied for undergraduate degree program in accounting, history, art, science, engineering, business, IT, etc.

Scholarship Duration and Reward

The Scholarship will give $8,000 per year for the USM Scholars

A $10,000 worth of scholarship per year for the Dirigo Scholars

And $12,000 worth of scholarship per year for the President’s Scholar

• A copy of passport
• Copies of academic transcripts
• Certificates of English language proficiency
