University Twente Scholarships (UTS) are scholarships for excellent students from both EU\/EEA and non-EU\/EEA countries, applying for graduate studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a PhD student at UT, you will be appointed to a full-time position for four years, with a qualifier in the first year, within a very stimulating and exciting scientific environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Scholarship Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
To be considered for the scholarship, you must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meet the required criteria of your specified programme<\/li>
Be a talented, research-oriented PhD candidate<\/li>
Be proficient in English.<\/li>
Have, or will shortly acquire, an MSc degree.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
Scholarship Duration and Reward<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Most PhD students in the Netherlands are considered as university employees, and therefore receive a salary to fund their research. Therefore, there are no traditional tuition fees for doctoral candidates or doctoral fellows.<\/li>
You will receive a gross monthly salary ranging from \u20ac 2.443,- (first year) to \u20ac 3.122 per month<\/li>
There are excellent benefits including a holiday allowance of 8% of the gross annual salary, an end-of-year bonus of 8.3%, and a solid pension scheme;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

You will have a training programme as part of the Twente Graduate School where you and your supervisors will determine a plan for a suitable education and supervision<\/p>\n\n\n\n
