The programme aims to teach and mentor young African developers to help them become professional developers with skills that can get them opportunities after the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To continue advancing through the sessions to get access to more courses and mentoring, you\u2019ll need to prove you\u2019re dedicated to learning these tech skills. You can do this by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

• Registering for your selected track.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
  • Completing all requirements to advance to the next phase.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
    • Participating in Andela challenges and meetups when you can.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Learners who complete the program may be eligible for an opportunity to take a Associate Android Developer or Associate Cloud Engineer Google certification exam with the certification exam fee paid for by Google.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      In order to participate in the Google Africa Developer Scholarship program, you must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • be at least 18 years of age<\/li>
      • be a resident of a country in Africa.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
