Nigerian Content and the Lessons from Covid-19 Pandemic

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) was established in 2010 by the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development (NOGICD) Act. NCDMB is vested with the mandate to make procedures that will guide, monitor, coordinate and implement the provisions of the NOGICD Act signed into law on April 22, 2010.

The foundation for NCDMB was laid in 2001 when former President Olusegun Obasanjo inaugurated the Presidential Committee on Local Content in the Oil and Gas Industry.

Requirements:

To be considered for the competitions, you must meet the following conditions:

• This contest is open only to 100-200 level students in public and private Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria – Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education.
• The competition opens on the 24th of July 2023. Completed manuscripts and accompanying documents must be submitted to www.ncdmbessay.ng on or before 28th AUGUST, 2023. Late manuscripts will not be considered . Hardcopy submissions will not be accepted.
• Entrants must submit either a letter of admission or a signed letter of attestation from his/her Head of Department (HOD) .
